Research of Agriculture Modernization was founded in July 1980 and is published in Chinese with English abstract by Science Press. This journal is sponsored jointly by the Agricultural Research Committee, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Aims and scope: Research of Agriculture Modernization welcomes submissions from scientists around the world under a broad scope of topics relevant to natural science, social science and literae humaniores. This journal publishes mainly original research articles as well as some reviews, short communications and special issues, and its areas of particular interest include agricultural development; sustainable agriculture development; ecological agriculture; rural environmental protection; regional development; agricultural economy; agricultural industrialization; agricultural system engineering; agricultural mechanization; agricultural engineering; application of high-new techniques in agriculture; utilization and protection of resources; and introduction of agriculture in foreign countries.
The aims of publication are:
to explore and research the theory, the strategy, the policy and the ways of agricultural modernization with Chinese characteristics;
the harmonious development among the scientific technology, the economies, the ecological and the social in the process of agricultural modernization in China;
to promote domestic and foreign academic communication and cooperation;
to promote the agricultural sustainable development in China;
and service for the construction of agricultural modernization.
