With the invitation of Dr. Zhiliang Tan of ISA, Prof. Shimin Liu, from Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia, visited ISA, CAS, during May 18th to 26th, 2008. Prof. Liu consulted with the related researchers of ISA about the international project entitled “Study on manipulation mechanism of anti-oxidation and lipid peroxidation in mammals” cooperated by CSIRO, the Medical College of the University of Western Australia and ISA, established the detailed plan and determined the recent research contents and implementation scheme of the project. Prof. Liu also introduced the previous progresses of the cooperated project and developments of livestock husbandry in Australia, and gave a brilliant lecture on how to write a successful scientific paper for postgraduates, which made great influences on the audience. (May. 27, 2008)
