In order to further improve the transfer and transformation of sci-tech achievement to local development , Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shi Ji Wufeng Agricultural Biotechnology Co., Ltd. Huizhou city, established Huizhou R & D Center On June 18.

The center will use modern agricultural techniques of molecular biology combined with traditional research methods to carry out "eco-rice" and many other new varieties of crops with high-yield, excellent quality, resist stress comprehensive properties. Both sides will strive to build efficient center which will play an important role in connecting production and research for promotion agriculture and biotechnology development of Huizhou city.
