The first Animal Nutrition and Environment International Conference (ANNINUE 2012) was held in Thailand during September 13th to 15th.
The three-day meeting has drawn more than 400 experts in the fields of animal nutrition, animal health and welfare, the environment, ecological sustainable development from more than forty countries and regions.
The meeting concerned on the latest research progress and development of animal nutrition and environmental safety and health farming.
Professor Yin Yulong from Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Sciences(ISA) was invited to give a report on the meeting. He introduced his recent work on nutrition and environment, especially "safety and environment friendly diets", "Environment and amino acids in the intestinal transit and protein metabolism", and "healthy farming and environmental safety research", which had been fully affirmed by international experts in this field.
It is reported that ISA will host the second Animal Nutrition and Environment International Conference in 2013.
