Prominent Research Achievements between ISA and Nutrition Research Center of the Department of Agriculture of Canada
During recent years, supported jointly by the Wang Kuancheng Fund of CAS and the Department of Agriculture of Canada, the scientists, from the Animal Health Research Centre of ISA, and Food and Nutrition Research Center of the Department of Agriculture of Canada, have carried out several co-operative research projects and made great progress in functional carbohydrates, probiotics and mycotoxin etc. Up to nowadays, both sides have already co-trained a total of more than 30 graduate students and six senior researchers, and published more than 30 research papers in international renowned Journals, such as Journal of Chromatography, FEMS Microbiology Ecology, Journal of Animal Science, Food Chemistry, FASEB Journal and Domestic Animal Endocrinology. The research achievements have been affirmed by the International Science and Technology Cooperation Bureau, the Department of Agriculture of Canada. Recently, both sides have planed to set up a joint laboratory for Fungal Control and and Nutrition of Agricultural Products, to develop more effective cooperative research.
