During May 24th to 25th, Professor Ralf Conrad, from Institute of German Terrestrial Microbiology

, visited the Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Ralf Conrad made an academic report entitled "Soil microbe and global trace gas cycle", and discussed some interesting research fields with scientists of ISA. Ralf Conrad has visited Taoyuan Agro-ecosystem Observation & Research Station, exchanged and discussed issues and experiences in-depth on testing the design and the differences of the long-term experiment. Both sides also reached a cooperation agreement on the project of biogeography of microorganisms with the ammonia oxidation function.
