Andre Bannink, the Netherlands IPCC greenhouse gas inventories editorial board, vice chairman of the World Research Alliance (Global Research Alliance, GRA), the specially-appointed researcher of Chinese Academy of Science, from Animal Research Center of Netherlands Wageningen University, invited by Pro. TAN Zhiliang from Healthy breeding livestock research team, paid a visit to ISA from February 20 to 23.

Pro. Bannink made a speech about Current Wageningen UR-research on phosphorus metabolism in dairy cows, and he also introduced the research progress in the aspect of the body phosphorus digestion, metabolism and discharge of milk cows of Wageningen University in details, and made report named International collaborations: GRA/LRG朏eed and Nutrition Network group, he also made a further introduction of the world alliance for the study, nitrogen and phosphorus in greenhouse gas emissions, the ruminant cooperative research project operation mode, and the invitation to participate in projects related to ruminant animal research team. During his visit, Andre Bannink made a further discussion with the research team of ruminant animal about the obtain of significant parameters related to the IPCC Tier3 level enteric methane emission model, besides, he made a deep planning to the relevant cooperation. After that, Andre Bannink paid a visit to the laboratory, the teacher in the lab introduced the basic research situation of ISA.

Andre Bannink's visit promoted international cooperation of ruminant animal research team in some related fields in the breadth and depth.
