As an integrated system for data information collection, processing, management and service, linked to the CAS　 network 　of agricultural,　 ecological　 and 　environmental　 information for 　the subtropical regions of China. Information available include remote sensing information for land cover, land use and changes, natural resources, digital geography　 (with physiognomy　, pedology, lithology, air temperature and elevation), soil fertilities, crop and animal productivity, rural population and socioeconomic status of the subtropical regions of China.
