The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) organized experts to examine the Project of National Funds for the Transformation of Agriculture Scientific and Technological Achievements-“Scale Production for High-Purity Amino Acids and Trace Elements Chelate”, presided by Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, CAS. The experts from CAS, Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Department, Hunan Agricultural University, Hunan Bureau of Animal and Fishery and Hunan Institute of Animal and Veterinary Science attended the conference. After listening to the reports from the project director, checking and approving relevant materials, questioning, replying and discussion, the expert group agree to pass the examination.

During the implementation process, the project formed the fabricating technology and application technology achievement of amino acids and trace elements chelate in mid-test conditions, established the parameters of amino acids and trace elements chelate for reasonable application in different animals, and had important theoretical and applicable value for scientific application of amino acids and trace elements chelate in animal husbandry and feed production. All the technological indexes of the project meet the qualification stipulated in the contract and the project achieved significant economic, ecological and social benefits.（March 5, 2009）
