Resume

Xin Wu, PhD, full professor, supervisor of PhD and master student of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nanchang University and Hunan Agriculture University. He was born in Henan Province in 1979, received his Ph.D degree from Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010. Now, he is a full professor of Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, CAS.

Undertaking several national projects mainly on amino acids metabolism, such as the National Natural Science Funds, the STS Program of Chinese Academy of Sciences, CAS President’s International Fellowship for Visiting Scientists, and Hunan Natural Science Fund. Based on these research grants, he got 29 patents, and has published more than 200 papers.

Professional affiliations: Vice President of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Agriculture Branch, World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS), Vice President of Aromatic Health Industry Branch, World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS), Secretary-general of the Trace Element and Food Chain Society (TEFCS) of the China Association of Agricultural Science Societies (CAASS).

Research interests: nutrition metabolism including amino acids, nucleotide and mineral with the physiological functions to the well-being of animals and people; nutrition and circadian clock; maternal nutrition.
