During October 19-21, Dr. Yanqing Lian, from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), was invited to visit Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and made a academic presentation entitled “multi-scale hydrologic and hydrodynamic models and application”. He introduced the latest progresses in model simulation of hydrology and hydrodynamics as well as application in wetland eco-system management. Dr. Lian visited Dongting Lake Station for Wetland Ecosystem Research on October 20. He proposed some comments on the work conducted in Dongting Lake. Meanwhile, Dr. Lian, on behalf of his research team, and Dongting Lake Station reached an agreement on the future collaboration in the filed of water resources.
